Hotel with spacious old world charm . Room surprisingly quiet, had view of major road but L shape of spacious room enabled a quiet night's sleep. Good AC and clean.

Good for an overnighter as its only a short distance to the Maradana train station. We stayed twice as it was so convenient. Large comfortable bed, clean and there's a fridge.

The location is the best part, situated within 2-2.5 km of Colombo Fort and within walking distance of Maradana Railway Station, also right in the heart of the city. The staff were excellent, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Initially, we booked only one night, but impressed by the room, hotel, and hospitality, we booked the same room for the end of our trip. Overall, it's a great hotel and offers good value for money.

Everybody at the hotel was very kind and looked after me extremely well.Ther was a nice breakfast, too. This a place for people who like the atmosphere of an old fashioned colonial hotel. Others might feel that the place needs a little renovation. Old town and station are within walking distance. (25-30 minutes)

Thank you very much, we loved staying there a lot! The staff is very friendly, they helped us with making lunch and allowed us to stay a little longer before our train comes. The breakfast is amazing, very nutritious and healthy. The area is a little bit far from the centre, but its ok you can use tuk-tuk or taxi. There is a little garden inside where you can relax and drink tea. Very nice place to stay in :)

Staff were friendly and there was a 24hour reception! The check-in process was smooth. The manager Sindujan was exceptional at making us feel welcomed and cared for - he was more than willing to share recommendations and was also communicative over whatsapp. The hotel was clean, although dated/ rustic. The room we got was really spacious and it was pretty quiet (it faced the inner courtyard) considering that the hotel was along a busy main street and near the railway station. It was really good value for money!

We really appreciated Mr Sandujan helping us with everything - storing our bags, a quick shower hours after checkout before our night bus ride, showing us local apps etc. We had the room Deluxe with a private bathroom. The room was nice even if a bit run down, especially the bathroom. One thing to note is, that our room had windows into the yard and not the busy street, which was a huge plus.

Great location, uber knows this place. Some small stores and food around. Train station Maradana is close. Wifi works great. Smooth check in & check out. Restaurant on the ground floor could bring the food to your room. Employees, especially Mr Sindujan, are so nice and hospitality. Late check out option been provided without extra payment.

Staff was very friendly and welcoming! Even though we were only able to check in at 12am they still helped us with a smile and even helped us with train schedules and plans for the next day. They hotel is clean and spacious with aircon and clean linen. Great value for money and I look forward to stay there again! Also short distance from Colombo Fort railway station.

The room was large and comfy beds. The patio to go to the bedroom was really nice little green square. The breakfast was very good portion and various dishes. Thank you Sindujan for making us feel comfortable, serving our breakfasts and helping out for the taxi. Sindujan makes this place lively.
